A lot of guys reach a point where the building is solid, but there just isn't enough covered space to work comfortably. Equipment sitting in the weather, no shade to wrench under, nowhere to park the tractor without it baking in the sun. That's exactly the kind of problem a porch extension solves.
We added a 20x45 covered porch to the front of this metal building. That's 900 square feet of new, usable covered space - built right off the existing structure. The steel framing ties in clean, and the metal roof panels match the main building's profile so the whole setup looks like it was always built that way.
What's nice about an addition like this is how much it changes the way you actually use the property. You go from a building you walk in and out of, to a covered workspace and staging area you can spread out in. Park equipment under it, work on a project out of the sun, store materials dry - it opens things up in a way that a bigger building footprint can't always replicate.
We do this kind of work on shops, barns, and existing metal buildings all the time. Whether you need a small lean-to or a full-length porch extension, we can build something that fits your setup right.
If your building needs more room - whether that's covered parking, a workspace overhang, or just somewhere to get out of the elements - we'd be glad to talk through what would work best for your situation.
